Blackberry Storm Bluetooth DUN Ubuntu Update

As a follow up to my other Blackberry Storm Bluetooth DUN post, here’s the more involved process for getting the storm tethered to Ubuntu.  I’m using Ubuntu Intrepid / 8.10.

    Get EVDO to work yet. I have a Storm and a Dell Mini 9 running Ubuntu 8.10. I am having the worst trouble getting it to work. I am trying to get gnome-ppp to do my dialing. I start it up and bluetooth connects but then it says the modem is unreachable! driving me nuts!

    can you post any output from gnome-ppp? is it just the “unreachable” error?
